Jill Ridley-Smith

Sustainability Strategy Consultant

MY SErVICES

I work with companies to advise them on their sustainability strategy. The movement for more responsible and sustainable business practices brings heightened expectations and new terminology which can be complex and confusing: an alphabet soup of credentials, voluntary and statutory disclosures.

Breaking down the complexity, deciphering the critical and important, and helping you focus on that which is material. Most of my work is for companies in the initial stages of putting together a sustainability plan; together we define the sustainability strategic objectives, align with the overall business strategy and create a road map to implementation and delivery.

ABout ME

I have a successful portfolio career as a business consultant and Non-Executive Director. My specialist interest area is sustainability and responsible business practices. I provide sustainability strategy consulting services and also serve as an independent non-executive director with oversight for sustainability. I sit on ESG Committees and Audit & Risk Committees. My expertise comes from the FSA Credential qualification from the IFRS Foundation (formerly SASB), ‘Leading Sustainable Corporations’ from Oxford Said Business School and ‘Business Social Impact’ from Wharton.

I bring a pragmatic approach, leveraging my career business experience in Private Equity (HgCapital), Strategy Consulting (L.E.K.) and FMGC (GlaxoSmithKline).
